The 5th VoCamp is dedicated to "Device & Sensor Ontologies"
and will take place on 20th - 21st of May 2014 at Fraunhofer premises in Sankt Augustin, Germany.
The event will be organized and chaired by Dr. Markus Eisenhauer, Head of the User-Centred Ubiquitous Computing Department at Fraunhofer FIT. The event will be held under the auspices of Adapt4EE and Ready4SmartCities European funded projects.
Fraunhofer FIT is partner of the Adapt4EE project in which context a series of VoCamps were held to identify and further improve key vocabularies used in the AEC domain.
Acknowledging the urgent demand on integration and interoperability of sensor and actuation nodes in the general domain of Machine-to-Machine (M2M) communication this VoCamp will present, discuss and analyse existing ontologies and services built on top of these semantic models. Working groups will elaborate on detailed topics in second day of the meeting.
Please visit the continuously updated eeSemantics wiki page of the event for background materials and further information (venue, travelling, agenda).
